I Keep on Falling Behind! I Might as Well Work

I brought the final copy of the June Gazette
into the office, after Suzanne decided  to go back to a full page
column and I printed it up. Got a call from Babs this morning--the
printer needed it to be done single page so once again I went back to
the printer! While I was at it I decided to redo the front page with new
pictures--the original had faded due to so many reprints and wouldn't
look good reprinted AGAIN! I will have to figure out how to post it
here--scan it? In any case I got another final copy to Babs and as far as I know it is now suppose to have been printed. I will find out tomorrow--or get another call! Does that make sense?

I
have been so busy with that newsletter I almost forgot that we would be
going to see "Hair" in Miami on Tuesday, only 5 days away. On Sunday,
as I do every year, and I don't know why, I will be going to the home
show at the convention center with Arnie and tomorrow, being Friday,
Allen and I will be going to the movies in the afternoon. Oh did I
forget to mention I also have a 'date' tomorrow evening. Folks, I am
retired. When do I get off this merry-go-round? I might as well go back
to work!

I was asked an almost impossible question the other day. Just like when someone asks me what is my favorite movie is I am
lucky if I can keep it down to a 100. I was asked what my favorite book
was and who was my favorite author--after many negotiations I was able
to get it narrowed down to living, female authorS. It is a tie between Maya Angelou's "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" and Rita Mae Brown's "Rubyfruit Jungle" but then I had to add the series by Jean M. Auel. I would have kept on going but, luckily, I had to be somewhere. I hate those type of questions!

I get that question (favorite book) all of the time. I have the same time. I read so much and a lot of different things. Have you read the new Auel book yet? I am still on the waiting list at the library.
I am sure you did a great job with the newsletter!

Yeah, I quit having "favorites". It's easier to have dislikes. "Hair" is still out there? Wow! Don't work too hard. Can you spell retirement?

They had a very successful revival on Broadway and it is now touring!

I can never keep track of what my favorite song, color, or author is - too many choices, and it depends on my mood at the time.
