BEFORE
The
black 'top' is an $8 door that I bought at Home Depot and covered with
contact paper. The 'desk' drawers hold all my 'office' equipment such
as peppers, ink cartridges, hammer and nails (well doesn't every office
have a hammer?!?!?), a dictionary (see fangio I do have one!), paper, stationary, maps, etc. I, also, tape
my doctor's appointments on the right side. My filing cabinet is on the
left with the tower on top. On the desktop are the monitor, keyboard,
mouse, printer, phone (which I don't use) and assorted 'things', 'junk'.
On top of the tower are hard copies of the Gazette issue I am working
on--they will be gone soon--and next to the tower a phone book and
review papers.
AFTER
To
the left of the keyboard is a 2011 calendar and between the monitor and
printer is my always filled coffee mug. The 'door' provides a lot of
space but it also provides for a big mess which I am good at making! In
the back of the desk, against the wall, is a computer chair comparable
to the one I am sitting on and behind the chair is the 'ME' wall---yes
all pictures of me through the years.
