Today I was checking my facebook account and I came across a testimonial someone wrote about me that I didn't even know was there. It was from one of my past students I've mentioned before that lives in CA on military base with her husband and baby daughter. Here is what she wrote...about me...

Wow! If only I could see what others see.

In other news, I got another call yesterday from the college. It appears one of their professors backed out for this coming session so I will be teaching college Spanish along with high school Spanish in just a couple of weeks. I will have to get used to both schedules at the same time instead of waiting till January. In a way it's good because I will avoid the anxiety that would have extended till January by jumping right into both.

The past few days, my son is really bonding with G and this means so much to me. My daughter and him had an almost immediate special bond but Kev is a bit tougher of a kid in more ways than one. The past few days though, I've seen him really latch on for an extended hug, hop on his lap to watch tv, lay on his lap and fall asleep... George and him also cleaned out one of Kev's fish tanks together last night and I could tell that meant a lot to Kev. I couldn't help but listen in as G explained things to him about the fish and tank. Kev listened and asked his own questions. Tonight they're going to clean the other tank and Kev has already talked about it. It was a real bonding experience for them and I'm very thankful.
