Finally Thursday Night

It's been a while since I have felt this blah! The weather has cooled off nicely so the beastly hot is no longer an excuse for my miserable-ness!

I have had awful pains in my back and stomach today. They're very hard to explain to the point where I haven't and wouldn't know how to explain it to a doctor. What I've noticed is that I don't get them every month but that when I do it's usually about a week or two before my menstrual cycle. It's a very uncomfortable, steady ache that expands from my mid/lower back to my stomach and abdomen. They've been known to keep me up at night but luckily usually only last a day or two.

For the past four days, I'm also extremely tired and feel like I want to eat all the time.

I dropped my cell phone while in the bathroom today and I only have vinyl floor, yet my phone completely broke. So I had to go up to the store and they gave me some really basic, junky phone for a "deal" of $42. With the volume all the way up, I still can't hear it. Plus no picture phone but I'll survive. I am really not good with electronics. I need extra durable equipment!

I went to have my female dr. exam today for which I was extremely over due. I'm glad I got that done.

Tomorrow my daughter has a class trip to a local theme park. It's also the last day of classes at the high school, but unfortunately I still have a little more than a week of classes at the middle school.

I feel like I need to hibernate for a few days until I get all the tired, funk out of my system.

I had that with just about every ovulation and the timing of what you are describing may suggest that you may be experiencing the same thing. I don't even have the "monthlies" anymore, if you know what I mean, but I still have some symptoms at or around what would be my "normal days". It wouldn't hurt to have yourself checked, though, to make sure it is just YOUR normal "girlie thing".

I hope you have a RESTFUL weekend! "Girl trouble" sure does stink! I usually feel ill about a week beforehand & during....fun! Send that cooler weather my way? Have a good night's rest!

Yeah...it radiates. Back pain can be a uterus thing for sure...

That pain can radiate like you wouldn't believe. I used to have a pain on my lower right side, that went all the way straight through...I felt like I had a knife sticking all the way through me. Sorry about the phone...that is so frustrating when that happens. I dropped my ambulance pager in the toilet one time......that wasn't good!!! (The toilet was clean!!)

I wonder if it's ovulation that's giving you pain, Gee....that happens to me.
