After the Storm

We had another thunder boomer go through here. We were at kota's class when it hit. the lights flashed off but came right back on. The wind was blowing and you could see all the lightning lighting up the sky. We came home, it had cleared up. I was getting on the computer and kota comes running in, you gotta see this mom! so I run out and see this big huge rainbow! You could almost see it from end to end! I ran in to grab my camera. And after a search for batteries here is what I got! Rainbows sure don't last long!

I need a new camera! its takes crappy pics!

Remember that Rainbows are God's promise never to flood the earth again. That was what I always used to tell my boys. I love rainbows. We're having a lot of thunderstorms here, actually we're about to have another. Hey, I'm home on Friday, but I'm working through the weekend. Let's chat or call.

Oh, I love rainbows! And it's so great when you can capture them like you have done.

Beautiful picture. The most wonderful, beautiful rainbow that I ever saw was in Colorado - the town where the prison is. We were traveling to Oregon and stopped for the night after a thunderstorm. I looked out and the rain bow or bows - about 4 of them was all the way to the horizon. I was in awe. Never have seen it again - or before. I also love storms and the loudest cracks of lightening I have ever heard was in Iowa. We have storms in Texas also, but guess I can't remember any great ones. Nena

Mary: The day my divorce was final, walking with my attorney, Mr. Yachtpayment, from the Long Beach court building, I was faced with an enormous double rainbow arching over the harbor. I took it as a sign (divorce #2) of never again!
Glad you made it through the tempest!

We've had an unusual number of T-storms in NY too. Global climate change? Maybe!
