Apparently having fever and chills Saturday and Sunday was not the last of the flu. During the night the second part of the flu hit me and hit me hard. Without going into details, the bathroom was my new home and Charmin ultra soft is my best friend.
Even though hubby ran out this morning for some immodium for me, it did nothing. I got a short nap in this morning but I was actually afraid to sleep too long.
I think I am over that part. Another lost day of work for me. But at least I am starting to feel human now. And a hot bath should fix me up just about right also.
With all of this sick time I have sped through my twilight books and am now reading book four. The first one is still the best in my opinion. I also got some laundry done this afternoon. Kota came home from school and immediately did his homework. On mondays they are given the whole week's worth of homework. He won't have much to do the rest of the week, but thats his plan. More time to go tae kwon do. I will probably skip class tomorrow, just to be safe.
I forgot to mention my friend Erin at work. She is the one who has been so complimentary to me, pointing out all the changes I have made. When I went into work Saturday she was working the express lane and it was slow. So I snuck over to say hi. She threw her arms around me and said, happy holidays! But there were tears in her eyes. I asked about the tears. Her husband recently left her and is filing for divorce. It sounds like a shock to her but I didn't get to talk to her much. I did give her another hug and told her she could talk to me anytime she wanted to. I know they have only been married a year. I was so sad for her. And before she would even tell me what was wrong, she asked how my thanksgiving was, how my family was, etc. I think she only works weekends at walmart so I will have a card ready for her next Saturday.
Hubby is cooking dinner, hot dogs, and its kind of making me feel not so good. I might retreat to the bedroom.
