Today was a great day! It was the field trip to the zoo. And even if it did sprinkle on and off, it turned out to be alot of fun. My daughter went with us, my bodyguard. She does not tolerate stuck up people. lol We had a blast. Even though we drove kota to the zoo, he was actually in a small group with a chaperone. So Kota's teacher introduced us and said we could all go together. This mom was alot of fun, we had a good time with her, laughing at the kids. It was her son, kota and another little girl. Well the little girl attached herself to my daughter, it was so cute!
After we ate our lunch the kids went to the playground. And I had a very nice talk with Kota's teacher. This man really cares about my little guy. He said he is just lost as to what to do to help him. I explained about the kids calling him names on the bus. He asked when that started. I told him January. It was like a light went off in his head. He told me that is when kota's behavior started going downhill. I did explain to him that no one else in the school wanted to even acknowledge that could be the problem.
the teacher did not have any kids to look after on the trip so he wandered around. But he spent alot of time with us. And he was really joking around with kota alot. I know this teacher is not the problem at the school, he truly has tried everything. And I saw kota's behavior in his classroom this morning. I pulled him off to the side and talked to him. I asked him, what the heck is going on? He walks in the class and turns into this child I do not recognize. But on the trip itself, he was as good as gold.
Oh and the little girl who started the name calling back in January? She didn't get to go on the trip at all! BOOO YAH!
I have pics to share with you all, but I am so tired. I want to check in on some of you and then head for bed.
Oh one more thing! They have wolves at the zoo! We didn't get to see them though, they just had babies on Sunday and they were all in the den. So I think in a few weeks, we will do a family trip to the zoo.
Martin, you would have loved it! There were so many fabulous birds there! I tried to get some good pics for you. There were these yellow parrots, I think they were parrots. They were gorgeous! And macaws, flamingo's and geese and ducks.
ok, enough for now. goodnight friends.
