Last night around 11 our storms hit! Relieving us of the heat wave. However, I did not get much sleep. I had one scared boy and two scared dogs. Rambo was so scared he climbed under my blanket! But it is a pleasant 75 degrees right now.
At Kota's tae kwan do class last night they were practicing falling. They had two mats out. One you just had to run up and fall so you landed on your shoulder and then roll. The other mat had a barrier in front of it. The barrier was chest high on Kota. They could choose which mat to go to. Of course Kota picked the one with the barrier. They were being instructed by the 13 year old black belt last night. Mr. Carl was laughing so hard at kota but also told him he did great. And that trying the most difficult shows he has alot of heart and determination. It was hilarious though. The air conditioning was not working in the dojang so it was 90 degrees in there. They took lots of water breaks though. Master Reynolds announced the belt ceremony will be friday night. Where everyone who passed their testing will receive their new belt. I am so excited!
I think today me and kota can finally get outside to play and run around. Well kota can play and run around, I will read my book in the sun.
