I think I am writing this to avoid the dismal antics of our Republican legislators. They are still attempting to
legislate morality. This time they are focusing on divorce
laws and seek to make divorce almost impossible to attain,
because by the time you have fulfilled all their conditions you would be deathly tired of the whole thing.
We just finished the third season of Boston Legal. We don't
answer the phone while we watch it which prompted Ellie to
come over and see if we were dead or dying. Ted moralizes
about what the whole cast is up to and I just laugh and
enjoy it.
Afterward, Ted returned to his painting and I watched the
style channel. I was watching jerseylicious and Ted
wandered through every now and then commenting on the fact
that the girls were so overdone and wore too much makeup.
The next thing on was a beautiful little control freak who
was bringing organization to a cluttered household. The
way she treated her staff was terrible.
I went back to HGTV and saw an episode where a 21 year old
college student won a million dollar apartment in New York
City plus a new Honda Accura. I was very happy for him
because he graduates this spring and can easily relocate.
That was the sum of my evening which I topped off with a
glass of egg nog containg just the right amount of nog.
