Our citizens are arming themselves at an alarming rate.
I will bet that everyone in my neighborhood owns a gun, even
the blue haired little ladies. Perhaps even more than one.
They are far too easy to get and the criminal element seems
to be increasing and people are frightened by the nut cases
that kill random strangers.
Would you believe that the legislature here is considering
arming college students, or rather allowing them to carry
weapons? The nut that introduced the legislation says it is
so they can protect themselves in case of another mass murder.
This is way too much like the wild west for me and we are
going to accidentally hurt each other.
On the home front, the kids asked us to go out and eat but
Ted didn't want to go and I went with them. We had a nice
time. As if Bobby did not have enough to cope with there is
another indignity. His next to the front tooth just fell
out due to the chemo. He is supposed to see the oncologist
tomorrow. However his hair didn't all leave, it just got
sparse and I noticed it is growing back in. He should
have his final chemo in two weeks. This has been such
a nightmare. Then comes recuperation and another surgery
so it will end up being a year before he is really well.
My next door neighbors are both in trouble. Carolyn has
had another stroke and Sherry is recovering from back
surgery. Here on the blog, Fredo and Mary are ill. I wish
them all a speedy recovery and for Fredo a long remission.
