Terrifying Times Ahead.

I am ready. I have bags and bags of candy. My witches
costume is ready and I have found the most delightful, scary
bowl. It has a large green hand in the middle that reaches out to grab the unwary child. ( battery operated of course). Take a piece of candy and you get grabbed.

Adrienne and Ashley are over the moon. They love it and
Ashley intends to tell all her friends about the house of horror.

It scares Rex to death and he circles it very cautiously
and clings to me. Poor guy has had such a bad and traumatic
time of it what with wearing a boot and being doctored
and having shots. He has healed well, with healthy skin
making an appearance and with the boot off he isn't scratching hardly at all.

Bobby's car broke down and he had to borrow the Suburban.
I don't think Ted will rest easy until it is back in the
driveway. He has an unreasonable attachment to cars. I guess it is a guy thing.

If you think I am in my second childhood, you are probably
right. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.

One time Mr. Troutbend bought a used Daihatsu (that's a little car) to drive to work and bowling. It was red, but otherwise not any sane person's idea of a middle-age crazy type of vehicle, but he always pretended like it was a treasured Corvette - 'Nobody drives my car. Nobody.' What makes it funnier is that he doesn't generally act like he cares much about anything. On the other hand, we don't test this out very often - I never ask to drive his cars (the truck is mine).

I thought your title referred to our future political landscape, then saw what you really meant. Yes, I love Halloween too! Such a fun holiday!

Ah hah! So you are one of those too. Ted asked me this morning to go by
Bobby's house and check and see if he had left the windows down and locked
it up.

I was one of the few teachers that ever donned a Halloween costume at school. Never a witch, however. Is there such a thing as a male witch?

Yes, they are called warlocks. This is such a fun holiday.

I seriously thought you were referring the mid-term elections. I thought to myself, "OK, let's go see what Jeri has to say about the latest poll favoring Republicans. My bad.

You are bad indeed! Oklahoma and Texas usually go Republican so I won't be surprised.

I'm with you. Halloween is also my favorite holiday. I will wear my traditional white witch outfit and am invited to a party so it will get a new audience. I hope I will get a good picture out of this that I can post. Lately all my photos look bad. It's called losing your mojo.

It must be our inner child that we let loose at Halloween. We will be
looking forward to a picture.

There is no such thing as an unreasonable attachment to a truck, so I guess the same goes for cars!
