Where to Start?

Ellie and I are going to rescue Sara and take her to lunch
today. She is lonely and depressed and can't seem to get
organized. We are going to help her get her apartment under
control first. I am taking lots of things, plus a new car
seat and a rocking chair. I have plenty of things for her
shower left. I am going to introduce her to the envelope
budget system but I doubt if she uses it. Ted even put
together a tool bag because the rocking chair is in a box and
we were afraid they wouldn't have the necessary tools. She
should be flattered. He cherishes them each and every one.

The family reunion is getting closer and closer, (next weekend) and I hope it doesn't rain so the kids can eat
out side. It has rained every time we have hosted it. The
weather is beautiful when it is my sister's turn.

Adrienne is in the jazz band this year and Sara can help her
with that. Adrienne adores Sara. The band had a car wash
on Saturday. I don't think they made much money and of course
Grandma is tapped for a donation. With the Republicans in
total power in our state, education is suffering.

The weather is absolutely lovely. Everything is trying to
revive and bloom, tomatoes included. We still have to
water and desperate for rain.

Happy Sunday, one and all.

I wish I lived closer to you. There are times when I could use some of he care and concern for others that you spread to the people in your life. You are a kind, considerate person.

I think we would have a good time if you lived closer.

My mother used to do that - show up and get things all straightened out - house clean, good food in the fridge, more for my sister than for me. She had favorite terms for it: "I'm going to bail you out... We'll hit the deck running."

That is what Ellie and I did. We hit the ground running and tried to
organize her...a daunting task.

I just checked my tomato plants... I touched a couple green ones and they fell right off the vine.
I hope it is nice for your reunion!!! Although you guys need rain so I guess it's win win?

I got two dime size ripe ones but if it doesn't turn cold too soon, we may
have some after all.

Every time I read something you've written, I'm struck by what a wonderful and generous lady you are. I certainly hope that the folks in your life realize how fortunate they are to have you loving them.

Thank you my dear, are you coming back soon? We miss you, you know.

Happy Sunday to you and good luck with the family there.

Sara needs a lot of luck. We left her with a clean apartment and a roast
and vegetables in the crock pot. Now, if she will just get Curtis to
put together the rocker, install the car seat and put some shelves together,
we will be fine.

May your kindness and caring be supportive and restorative and just what helps Sara.... Love is the best sunshine of all.

Sara is loved but she didn't get the organization gene. Ellie and I
gave her plenty of advice but she has a problem setting her priorities.
