Sheer Bliss

Lane did such a fantastic job painting the trim on our house. He under bid the job to the point that it was laughable so we paid him extra. It has made such a difference in the looks of our house, especially the back of
the house. It was such a pleasure to situate all the ferns and greenery and put the cushions back on the furniture. It
looks as though it would be the perfect place to sip mint juleps.

We have to take a load of trash to the dump and we have most of it in the Suburban already. It is a noxious chore because we have to have our water bill and a driver's
license and can only do it twice a year. This is a city thing.

Rex and I sat out and had our breakfast in the back yard.
Tim caught me in my nightgown but then he was in his shorts so I figured our breech of back yard manners cancelled each
other's undress out.

Ted is going to put some outside speakers up so that we can
enjoy music when we are outdoors. Bliss indeed.

Have you posted pics of the house? Sorry if I've missed them..

I certainly hope you will be able to visit us someday. We could both use some pointers if we ever settle down to painting again.

Oh, at last. Sounds like it was worth waiting for.

It was well worth the time.

I figure if the neighbor-lady looks over here it's by choice.... anyway... your place sounds nice... can't wait to get this place cleaned up... should happen soon!

We have to have a little freedom to run around in less than full dressed mode.

A mint julep would hit the spot right now.

And I bet you have a recipe don't you?

No manners here

I am glad to know that you are free to be too.

Ed is very careful not to step out on the pool deck unless he is fully dressed. I take liberties all the time. The neighbors have to be outside to see you. Ed wants to put outdoor speakers on the deck. I don't want him to because sometimes I need to get away from the stuff he plays. Sometimes I hear his ancient opera records (those old Italians, frankly, were not that interesting and they were always singing about 'mother') when I am coming home from my walk. I get that "Snoopy in the tall grass" feeling until I get myself under control. I don't complain. He's entitled, but please no speakers outside as well.

I get up and water so early that I feel free to do it in my nightie. Ted is more modest however.

I am guilty of that kind of breech of manners! Your backyard sound so peaceful and beautiful. I'd love to see it some day. Wonder if chance will ever bring me to your neck of the woods?
