I cooked, baked and did all the traditional things and we
were all together on Christmas Eve. Owen was the star and
passed from hand to hand until everyone got a chance to hold
him. We had a lovely time together mingled with sadness at
Bobby's diagnosis.
Christmas day was spent with Bobby and Ellie and Ashley and
Adrienne. The four of them got Kindle Fires for Christmas
but they left them at home.
Ted and I got lovely gifts and gave a lot of gift cards and
money as well as something especially for each child and
grand child. We always give Adrienne and Ashley a family
membership in the Science Museum.
Bobby has more testing and then will start chemo and radiation. The treatment and surgery should last about a
year and we are anxious to get started on it as soon as
possible. Hopefully, he can have the Pet scan and the ultra
sound this week and an appointment with his oncologist. It
is one step at a time.
We watched my father waste away from Prostate cancer and it
was so hard. I am hoping as hard as I can that this has
been caught in time. I need your prayers and positive thoughts. Bobby may be in his fifties but he is still my
baby.
