Neat Surprise!

I have become upset with the state of my closets for a long time. It seems that I keep my clothes forever, while adding new ones, and Ted does the same thing. I saw an ad in a Brylane home catalogue for a zip up plastic and fabric closet. I didn't have great expectations...it was priced at 29.99...but it was wonderful although a little hard to put together. It is sturdy and holds l5 garments confortably. We set it up in the hot tub room, (the hot tub pumps leak and we hardly ever use it). I plan to get another one. If you want the address let me know.

I have begun putting a few plants back outside. Lavender and Hydrangea and Calancho. I will put herbs in pots on the deck too. I badly need to weed the flower bed but I am babysitting Adrienne and Ashley tomorrow. As Adrienne's birthday is the l5th, I am taking her her birthday present, Ashley's unbirthday present, strawberry cupcakes and dinner so that Ellie won't have to cook. I put a pot roast in the crockpot for them. The bad thing is that I have to leave for OKCY at 6:30 a. m.

Rex was watching tv with us and just all of a sudden went in the kitchen and collapsed. He takes long puppy naps and
just crashes. He stole a cupcake today off the kitchen counter. He is too funny!

Good night and have a great weekend.....Jeri

I try to do like 'Fredo and throw something old out whenever I get something new. I can always find a shirt with a stain that will not come out, or paint on it. Heck, I have paint all over my clothes!

This post is goading me to clean out my closet...overstuffed with clothing that I no longer need or wear (suits, ties, dress shirts). All I wear now are tees and casual things (scrubs, jeans, etc). I think the local goodwill shop is about to get a windfall...

Now the story is on clothing. When you buy something new,you have to get
rid of one.Believe me this is a good idea.I always do.Have a big bag for
Goodwill and put it in there.Get rid of what you have when you buy something new. This is a good motto.

I know what you mean about closet space. I have one closet in my apartment and I honestly don't think I can cram one more thing in it. But that doesn't stop me from making the attempt

You sound busy and happy! I noticed that space savers now have a cube that I would like to try for storage; the square zippered ones are wonderful!

I thought maybe the surprise was that you tried on some of your clothes that were size 6 and they fit.
