Death crept in early this morning and took our dear friend,
Dallas. He was eccentric, outrageous, opinionated and larger than life. That is why it is so hard to think that
he will be no more.
Ruth found him in the hall and called 911 but it was too late to revive him. He will be cremated and his ashes buried in Ruth's family cemetary.
Her health is very poor but she has two sons who will be very supportive of her and Dallas has a sister, Mary Alice who is coming to be with her.
Life keeps throwing curve balls. The unexpected is just around the cornor. Dallas loved the ocean. He was in the
Navy when he was a young man. When I think of him, I will
always picture his ocean blue eyes.
I sent Ruth roses, not knowing what else to do.
