Today was my day to bring donuts to my antique club. I
got the cream filled kind that are to die for. Kathy forgot
it was my day and brought bear claws. We sat and decided
to have doughnuts for lunch. I know Fredo and Teal will
scold me for such abandon but it seemed like a good idea
at the time.

Our lesson was on Fiesta. It broke my heart to remember
that I had a full set of the originals for every day and now
the set of bowls is going for l,800. on Ebay. Who knew?
I break a lot of dishes and the only survivors are the
bone china plates I gave Linda from my wedding shower.

The only dishes that I don'[t care for are the set of Noritake
that Ted got in Viet Nam. For some reason, they don't
please me.

We got all excited because Phyllis and Renee are going on
an Alaskin cruise toward the end of July. I don't want to
go to Alaska....I think Sara Palin turned me off the whole
State.

I am shopping for upholstery material and found some I
really liked. I need a heavy tapestry fabric and I have to
hurry up because the upholsterer that I like is nearly as
old as I am and I am afraid to wait, if you know what I
mean.

We had a little rain today, just a sprinkle. We need so
much more. I heard on the news last night that the heat
will likely exist for five more years.
