Just as soon as it gets a little cooler, probably in the middle of September, we have two great weekends planned.
The Oklahoma City Museum of Art has Roman art from the Louvre through the month of September and the Kimball in Fort Worth has an impressionist show featuring Monet, Manet, Renoir and Cezanne. One of my favorite paintings by Manet is the one of the races at Longchampes and I can't wait to see it in person. The horses look as though they are thundering off the canvas.

Speaking of art, have you seen our own Dragonflyby's latest painting, "Lamentations"? It is so sad it hurts me to look at it but beautiful and haunting. Her painting just gets better all the time.
