My life is definitely not lonely since we put the house up for sale. We average one looker a week and today we had Victor, Maria and their children. The older boy, Juan and his sister were delightful, well behaved teenagers. But ah Jesus who had just turned one year old was a delight.
Ted, Victor and Maria went off to look at the land, leaving the realtor, the teenagers and Jesus with me. I was busy passing out cokes and cookies and filling bottles and watching Jesus crawling around doing baby stuff. He was such a fat, happy, well loved infant and used to entertaining Adults.
The whole family seemed equally at home with Spanish and English. They had just sold cattle and their place in Mexico. I enjoyed the diversity. I am learning more about staging all of the time. It is one big rush to put the good bedspread on our bed and put plants in the greenhouse window in the master bath, be sure the fountain outside is clean and running and boil cinnamon and other spices so the
house will smell like home. One of these days, we surely will have a hit.
