Every Day

I am having trouble getting backyard pictures of the yard on
the blog. Opening and sizing the photos are my stumbling
blocks. I will be screaming to Jeremy for help.

This has been the clean the house, do laundry, paint a little
and reading day. I have just started a collection of short
stories by Alice Hoffman. I read too much last night and
my eyes have been sensitive today.

The Doctor checked with Ted to see if he was having pain, he
isn't but kept his next appointment anyway just in case.
Although he isn't in pain, the stroke has made his balance
poor and he is not the man he used to be. I am trying to
encourage physical therapy. AND A HEARING AID!!

Mike told me how to make zucchini soup and that is what I
had for lunch. It was good. Ted had spaghetti and meat balls. He doesn't like to experiment. We both had homemade
garlic bread and it made me think of Laura's fox. Ted and I
were looking through some of the pictures he took at the
Cowboy Hall of fame and there was one of a fox slinking through the woods. You know that Laura makes rolls for
the fox....and you tell me I spoil Rex!!

I'm partially hard of hearing in one ear, but that sometimes is a positive, when at night, I can sleep with my good ear down!

I love that she takes such good care of that little guy.. or girl. Sounds like a good day. I am getting ready to sweat through my dog walks, then I want to read for a bit in my "reading room". Maybe this afternoon I will take some pictures and post about the new house.

I hope so. We are looking forward to more pictures. It is so rare to have a
bond with a wild animal like the fox. We all love hearing about him.

I resize my photos using paint, although I know several other ways to do it.

The comment was meant for Jeremy. He lives less than a mile from me so I
can get some help.

Just say the word and I'll come over in a flash. Tomorrow, after noon I'll have some free time until about five.

That comment above was meant for you instead of Joan. I may drop by since
I don't have your number anymore.

I'm getting ready to make some of the fox's special dog biscuits - peanut butter, broth, whole wheat flour. I hope he likes them. If not, that other fox will. But you know what? I should be making biscotti for Mr. YouKnow.

Mr. T. is spoiled too. You are the best cook in the world.

I edit photos in the software that came with the camera (Kodak), but there's a very user-friendly freebie available to resize pics if that's what you need.

download (dot) cnet (dot) com/3055-2192_4-10319476.html?tag=pdl-redir

Replace the (dot) with a period and remove all spaces to make the link work. And yeah, the word download is part of the link. Put www in front of it if your browser requires you to do so.

Thanks for the information. It is all so frustrating. I have a wonderful
picture taken in April showing all the roses in bloom that I wanted to
post and one today with my tiny vegetable garden.

I love Rex and I love the fox and I'm all for spoiling them.

I haven't posted pix lately for the same reason -- hard to locate them, confusing to make them smaller, etc. It used to be easier. Ed too having hearing problems. Throws out all the literature we get for hearing aids and such. It's not a real problem yet but I do find that I have to repeat myself. And you know the old joke, "You don't have to shout!" I have masking deafness -- when the water is running, if there's a lot of noise. But in the quiet I hear everything, even small stuff outside the house, like Ed clicking the car door opener.

Fredo talked to Ted about getting a hearing aid. It is so frustrating. I
don't hear as well as I did. Fredo pointed out to me that I have a voice
in a range that is hard to hear and of course it discourages conversation.
I hate repeating myself and of course he misses a lot.
