The Dark Night and the Dark Knight

It is very cold and almost a full time job to keep putting logs on the fire. Ted got the Dark Knight for Christmas and is watching it now. It is too loud for me.

Yesterday it was 74 and such a beautiful day, then a norther is blowing through and we woke up to 26. We went shopping yesterday and bought a folding treadmill and brought our cardio glide home. I have done l2 sets of l0 on it today and really like it. We didn't have room for the treadmill so we will go back and get it next Saturday.

Rex has been terribly naughty. He tore up a lot of Ted's papers, ate my panty hose and shredded a new pair of Ted's underwear. I had to hide them in a plastic bag in the trash. He is so tall that he can reach counter tops and pluck off what he wants. He is bored when we are gone but he does have his own toys. I guess I need the Dog Whisperer.

I hope you are cozy and warm. Jeri

Rex dominates, I see. But, yes, you must learn to protect your things by not leaving them where he can get at them. Check out my Dear Dogs and Cats post.

I think perhaps RX (Rex) is the prescription for keeping a sense of humor going for you. Good luck with this.

It's "Katy Bar The Door" when they can reach the cabinet. Not yet as destructive as our little dog, Colby. His favorite hobby was chewing on shoes and purses. But he was a thoroughbred, so he didn't bother with the cheap stuff. He went right to the Polo and all-leather shoes. He totally ruined two pair of $150 loafers of Holly and Kenna's as well as one of Kenna's $200 purses. I didn't know who to kill first--him for chewing on their shoes and purses or the girls, who had been warned repeatedly not to leave them where he could find them.

I think the Humor Fairy paid you a call because your last few posts have been so amusing, so fun to read. Bad Rex!
