Crispy Critters

It is too hot here for flies. Seriously! They have fled to
some cooler place and that is the one bright spot on the
horizon, other than that the electric grids have not gone
down with this excessive useage.

Oklahoma women will soon look like weathered and leathery like most of the women in Wyoming do after the
wind and the sun have had their way with them.

I have gone about watering, wifeing, mothering and grand-
mothering just as I do every day.

On the bright side, I am reading Snobs by Julian Fellowes
and it is hard to put down.

Bobby had his next to last chemo Wed. Each one is worse
than the one before. I am glad he is almost at the end.
He has kept most of his hair and has gained a little weight
so they think he is doing well. I hope so.

That has to be so so hard to watch him suffer through this. I am hoping for the best news at the end!

Oh, I hope Bobby comes through this well and recovers! I wonder how he is handling the heat?

Glad Bobby is seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. Wish him well from all of us. The hotter it gets here, the more flies we get. Your flies are wussy. There is a Nivea face day and night cream I use (I order it from Canada because they stopped selling it in the U.S.) It is really good. If you are interested, I will give you the order info. An order of each comes to around $50. It will stop the leathery.

Thanks for the tip. I am a dedicated Olay Pro X user and I use sunblock
before I go outside. We all have to remember to drink water all the
time. My neighbor thought she had a heat stroke yesterday, a mild one.
It was ll3 here yesterday.

We haven't had nearly the crop of dandelions in the yards this year because of the drought. A silver lining, I suppose.

We have to look for silver linings wherever we can find them.

Good for Bobby and surely that he will be glad when all of this is over.He had quite an ordeal there. He is gaining weight which is good.
We are having our share of the heat and humidity not as bad as your but bad enough.
We are heading of the beach in the early morning before the crowd gets there.
We liked it this way.Still thinking of heading off to Santa Fe as Mike is gathering some information. Now sure when.Best to the family there.

Yes, nothing would make me happier than to see his PET scan come back
cancer free after the next chemo treatment. I think they wait too weeks.
I lost one of your messages before I saw it. You and Mike are going to
love Santa Fe.
