A Clean Slate

The old year is history and 2014 is a brand new chance
to dump bad habits and go forward. I resolve to be a
better housekeeper and to exercise more and to lose a
few pounds and to take better care of myself. I want to
be kinder and more compassionate and less selfish with
my time.

I wish all of you happiness, prosperity, love and warmth.

Noble resolutions all -- you might try the biofeedback method of weight loss, which is to weigh yourself on arising, before or after bathroom break, same clothes, same scale, write it down and go on about your business. Your habits will change and you'll be hardly aware of it. 2013 has been a sad year for me because of the death of my sister, and always my beloved cat, Chewy. But there have been positives too. But the loss of people and pets trumps all, doesn't it?

20l2 and 20l3 have been trying times. Weather has been so quirky and
wrought so much destruction this year and the illness in my family has
been devastating.
