Where Have All the Bloggers Gone?

I realize it is hard to take time to write a blog when nothing
at all seems to be happening. My breaking news is the dog
bite that our postman suffered yesterday. Our tile finally
arrived but things are simmering along about as usual.

I am taking Adrienne and Ashley out to lunch and shopping
today for Adrienne's birthday. They are out of school and
their holiday is due to the fact that there were no snow
days this year.

Ted and Ashley have discovered some dreadfully bad for you
little cakes that they love. They are about 3/4 fat, frosted
and have a sweet filling as well.

Do take time to write about what is happening in your world.
It makes mine more interesting.

I'll scroll down my friends list and find very few new posts. I MAKE time, if for no other reason, there's something for "friends" to read--mundane as they are.

I figure I'll spend my time posting or reading, but for some reason, I can't seem to manage both any more.

Time is not a problem for me. Laziness is.

Yes,who bit the mailman.Not Rex?
comment by fredo on Apr 6, 2012 9:29 AM ()
No, Rex is a cowardly lion. This dog was so little he couldn't get his
teeth closed over the postman's knuckles. I know which neighbor they belonged to. She has two chihuahuas. I hope he doesn't give her any trouble.

I am one of the MIA you are talking about. Yes, it is hard to keep up but I will renew my efforts to be a good 'neighbor' and friend.

We love you and are interested and am hoping your back is much better.

Not to worry about "no news" -- I trust it was not Rex who bit the mail guy. Not our Rex. Your minutiae is interesting. It's just you who doesn't think so.

Rex is very passive and friendly and sweet. He would never bite anyone.
People are afraid of him because he is enormous. In fact, the postman said
he had never been bitten by a big dog.

We have been taking good care of Hobbes, who has a terminal condition called "wet" Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). It is sad to see him slipping from us. If I don't post much, that is the reason.

I know you are having a hard time. Especially now that he is failing.
Hugs!
reply by elderjane on Apr 7, 2012 5:50 AM ()
Thinking of you during this difficult time. Give Hobbes hugs from me.

I was just thinking I need to post something. I will do that.
Who's dog bit the mailman?
comment by kristilyn3 on Apr 6, 2012 6:00 AM ()
This particular neighbor is old and alone and has her two little dogs for
company. She still has to work and I hope they don't refuse to deliver
her mail.
