Bad Dog! Bad Dog!

Rex made a dash for freedom out the front door and I ran,
fat jiggling, for six blocks chasing him. I went back home
to get the car thinking that I could persuade him to get
inside, but no, There he went with his plume in the air and
a goofy smile on his face.

I finally shooed him into a neighbors yard and caught him
but I was about to lose him when Max came out to see what
his dogs were barking at, jumped the fence and helped me
get him home.

The excitement wore me out but Rex and I are not speaking.
I resisted his attempt to make friends. There are a lot
of drawbacks to having a ll9 lb dog, namely they are
stronger than you are.

I shan't make up with him until bed time.

Ah those pups.... I am sure he had a great time and doesn't get why you aren't just as happy about the adventure

Too funny.Megan is a runner. She would run to the next county given a chance. Thank goodness Erin is a but kisser, but alas, he will chase Megan.

I love that dog. But when they get out and about, we worry our animals will meet with some misfortune. When Max went walkabout that time someone propped our pool door open, I was done in by worry until he showed at 5 a.m., a full 7 hours gone. Give Rex a kiss for me.

They are worth all the love, the worry and the expense because they make us
happy. Our lives are richer because we have them

Forgive him! He had to run around in the sun like a youngster! Sometimes I get the same urge.

He is not very obedient but all is forgiven. Have a nice time but by this
time you will have gotten up to take Ruby to the boarders. I will be thinking about you, knowing that your flight is long and tiring. Have fun!

I can picture that look on his face.

He really enjoys a good run with his tail waving in the breeze and a big
grin on his face. The weather was perfect yesterday and it must have been
a call to the doggy wild because Mandy escaped too and was recovered.

That's a lot of dog to be running the streets. But it probably seemed like a fun idea when he left....

He is huge but not scary and if he ever got lost he would take up with any
woman who was kind to him. He has that implant that should return him to
us. There must have been something in the air luring him on.
