Shopping Frustration

I thought that buying a dishwasher via internet and Home
Depots offer of black Friday pricing was the way to go. Not
so my friends. Firstly, it refused to accept my perfectly
good password so I went to the phone. I had already decided
on the color and model and had the number. I purchased the
dishwasher but it took an hour to get it set up and all that
while I was fixing Ted and Rex breakfast. However it was
the best option because I didn't have to dress and I could
take care of Ted and Rex at the same time.

Rex has been pouting and refusing to eat because I am out of
the canned chicken that he likes. I am out of canned chicken
because Aldi's ran out. In fact the whole store was in complete chaos because they were rearranging all the counters
and shifting them around. Is it just me or do stores move
stuff on a routine basis just as you get used to where all
the items are?

We are inundated with leaves. It took me an hour to fill up
our garbage cans. The city will take them as part of your
garbage but ignores them if they are bagged and put out with
the trash. Our wet summer produced a staggering amount.
It has been a mixed blessing.

That poor suffering Rex!!!!
I hate it when rearranging occurs at the grocery store. I really do. I feel for ya!

Adding to Trout's store design info is that customers learn where to go for what they want. Many get what they came for and they leave. Stores want the customers to wander around more so they can be exposed to more stock. It is more than annoying to learn a store and then have to learn it all over again so they can sell more. Anyway, in my case, it ain't gonna happen. I eventually find what I want and I leave, but also I am pissed off. Glad you are getting a new dish washer. What kind did you get?

I got a very plain low end Amana dishwasher. After attempting to have a
Kitchen Aide dishwasher repaired and being told that the cost would be
prohibitive when we lived on the farm, the repairman advised me to go this
way. I am replacing an ancient Maytag that was here when we bought the house. It was really failing to get the dishes clean. I got black because
my kitchen is black and white.

I'm so glad you are getting a new dishwasher! Stores hire consultants to tell them where to put the first thing we come to and it's all a devious plot. Since your Aldis has just one entry door that must make it easier for them to steer you the way you are supposed to go. Have you put together your yard tool caddy yet? Ours is just perfect on our back patio.

Aldi's moved the fresh vegetables and some of the frozen food to the middle
of the store and since it has become crowded with people, it is really
hard to find what you need. I feel honor bound to shop there for produce
and milk and eggs because of their prices and Rex's chicken is cheaper there than anywhere else. I will keep you posted on how the dishwasher
performs.
