Ted and I had such a horrid track record when it comes
to marriage that we approached our twenty Fifth with a
sense of wonder. Ted didn't feel like driving across town
so we ended up at our favorite Mexican place. Ted told
them it was our anniversary so they made our drinks so
strong that we were both a little tipsy.

Today is Ted's birthday and he already has his present.
Adrienne called and wanted me to pick her up after school.
I had smuggled birthday cards to the kids so I think his
birthday won out over the peer group which will surprise
and delight him. Also, I will get to hear about the Valentine dance.

We watched Places of the Heart last night and Ted enjoyed it
as much as I did. I don't know how we missed it the first
time around. All in all, it was a lovely day.
