Transition

I saw headlines saying that Trump — or his aides — were taken by surprise to find that they had to re-staff the entire West Wing. I guess they probably thought the Royal Council of Something or Other would step in and assign all these jobs to somebody; or the staff already existed, and the Lord of the Chamberpot, Gentleman of the Long-Tie-rack, Lord Chamberlain of the Flagpin were there somewhere in the White House with all the others, hiding in the drapery or kneeling in the corridors, ready to jump out and do His bidding so all Trump has to do is sit on the Throne.

If he had any conscience, that’s where he’d be, hiding in the bathroom. Honestly — a guy who doesn’t plan ahead because he “didn’t want to jinx” himself.

Facebook is very interesting since the election. I sat in my Lutheran
church Sunday and heard our black female pastor denounce the bigot who robs us all of peace and love. I was so proud of her!

I'm not as concerned about his election as I was a week ago. I just haven't gotten around to blogging about it yet.
