Howdy all.....I've been really enjoying the last couple of days. I flew my son and his son up here on Wednesday, from Florida. My son is heading back to our home state of Iowa to help a friend with work - making some much needed cash for himself and his family. They'll be here a total of about 3 weeks. Since I am driving him to Iowa today, I'll then go another couple of hours up to where the Slick One is right now and spend a couple days with him. Then, hopefully, on Wednesday, we'll both be driving back here to our home in Missouri. It will be great to have Slick back at home for a few days.
It's been a lot of fun spoiling the 9 year old grandson. He's been my baby since he was 6 months old (that's when my son started dating his mom. So, officially not my grandson, but that's what I call him anyway!)
I'm not lookin' forward to the drive - 4-1/2 hours to where I drop off the my son and grandson, then another 2 hours or so to where Slick is. I'll be ready to be outta the car for a bit then!
Won't be online much while I'm gone...but will post again after I get back.
