People must think they have something different than everyone
else under their clothes if they have a problem with the full
body scan. I'd rather feel safe on a plane than care
about someone seeing the outline of my body.

First, I hear you on the birthday party thing. I cringe whenever
they come home with an invitation. It was pure hell when DD was
too young to get invitations, while her brother is going to parties
monthly and coming home with all that loot...

And I drool over Aiden/John Corbett too. I was VERY upset that
Carrie picked Mr. Big over him, stupid, stupid girl. Oddly, one
of my brothers looks a fair bit like John Corbett, how did that
happen??

I did see that Oprah, and it was great. I'm surprised that his
kids don't look at all like him, and definitely don't look half
black. I've made my kids watch a few old MJ videos, and they are
pretty interested in him now!

My kids get phone calls all the time from friends - to see if they
can play. They don't really talk to each other on the phone
though. They pretty much started as soon as they were old enough
to speak well enough - age 3 or 4.

I have dry hand issues too. What I do is scrub them with a scratchy
mitt (got mine at walmart) to remove the dry skin, then use
Vaseline. And only do it when your hands are wet from washing
dishes/showering/bathing kids, etc. I'd like to find something
more organic than petro-based vaseline, but never remember that
when I'm near an organic store.

I started running this year, I did three 5km's, then the
run I started running for, an 11.2km/7mile run around the lake,
profits going to the library I work at (took me 1hr, 11 min).
I'm impressed at your half marathons! I'm good staying with 10k!

Wow, its HARD to diet like that! I've lost 10lbs this
year by eating more vegies & salad and exercising, but I still
have that little bit of belly flab that doesn't want to go
away.
