A story in the LA Times Wed., Oct. 1, 2008, reported on a division among Evangelicals about what constitutes a wifely role. Some say, that because Mr. Palin agrees, it is okay for his wife, Sarah, to work outside the home. This is because Evangelical teachings insist that the woman be submissive to her husband in all things, that her role (the role of all woman) is to be home with the children, etc. (ad nauseum).

I don’t know if the Evangelicals will will ever figure this one out. It’s ironic that in this one instance, I wish Mr. Palin would “forbid” his wife to run for VP.

I have received a couple of brilliant videos (one about the financial crisis and one about politicians in general) that I would like to put onto my blog and am still trying to figure out how to do it. The upload image space won’t accept a video. Where do I put it? In the body of the text space? Help.

I also have some photos of the Palin family cavorting in their home and backyard that highlight all their excesses (vulgar humor, "funny" stuff with bottles of booze, the girls rolling their eyes and touching tongues) and the phrase that comes to mind is “white trash”. What a presidential family this would be. And there is also the photo of Palin in her July 4th American-flag bathing suit, showing (yes, me, the libertine, is saying this) altogether more of her than I ever wanted to see. I forgot where I stored them. If I find them, I will post.
