Hi,
It has been so long since I have posted, and so long since I have been in touch that I would be suprised if any of you give a rat's ass about my presence now.
Ed, my husband, is a heart patient. He had the beginnings of pneumonia recently and had to go to the hospital. He spent a week there and has improved. He is home, getting lots of bed rest, but can't move around easily. I am trying to keep up with his requests, but they are many, so I am tired.
Today our air conditioner, that was severely damaged during Hurricane Ian, is being replaced. It's taking the A.C. workers all day. Their equipment is making a racket.
I have made my bed so that I can use it as a desk. It is full of papers and I am too tired to sort them. I'll put them away again until I can figure out how to file them.
When you approach our little island by car, you will pass a couple of miles of destroyed buildings, courtesy of Ian. Some of them were landmarks.
My daughter, Laura, will come visit in June and stay with us. Our permanent house guest, Sol, will be traveling to Lithuania to see her mom, so Laura and her intended will stay in her room while she is away.
Love you all,
xx, Teal
