But not new to blogging. Segueing over from that "other" blog.

First off, I tried to change my location setting and couldn't. Apparently it is written in stone. Please note I DO NOT LIVE IN CAPE CORAL. Around here we refer to it as Cape Coma. People who live there are mostly brain dead. I said mostly, so please if you think you are alert and live there, do not take offense. If you are really alert, you will join me in bemoaning the lack of intellect, artistic purpose, and all-around good sense of your neighbors.

Ed and I live on an island in the Gulf. We have lots of water, right up to our back lawn. Ed loves lawns even though getting him to mow is difficult. I do not mow. I do not even like to look at Ed, or anyone else, mowing. Major yawn.

One of the good things about using MyBloggers is that none of my friends and neighbors know about it and I don't plan to tell them. They can check my other blog for derrings do and whatever I choose to write that does not concern them. Here, I trust, I can be more frank. In line with this my post after this one has been sitting in my Word program under blognotes.doc for months and only now do I feel I can post it without alienating a best friend.

My third post is about Obama who does not and never did from first viewing excite anything in me but"if it's too good to be true, it's too good to be true" and "what charisma?" I

What I am not is a Republican.

Elsewise I share a lot with my kitties -- optimism, cuddly feelings, good will and if you are my friend or even not quite friendly to me, I am not vindictive nor willing to harm you for things you cannot fix. The worst thing I do if you want to call it that is remove you from my life.
