Reading the health and fitness section in today’s News-Press gave me some insights and here they are. A power pose is standing with your hands on your hips. People perceive you as being someone to reckon with. Moreover, and this boggles the mind, using this stance actually changes your bodily chemistry, increases your hormone levels that dictate confidence, and you will gradually feel more empowered. So from now on, for those odd moments in the day when you don’t know what you want to do next, stand with your hands on your hips. Report back to me at the end of June. Let’s get this going. It also reminds me that when you are feeling down, consciously smiling even if you have nothing to smile about, changes your mood to a positive one.

Powerless poses include a hunched back, crossing your arms in front, etc. Oh timid you. No one wants your opinion. I can’t type anymore. I’m going to do the hands/hip thing.
