The guys went to a Cheech and Chong Concert at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. They were all so excited. I taught hubby how to video with the camera and he promised to take pictures and video so I could share with all of you and the girls at work.Â
We did leftovers for supper. My fridge is full of leftovers. I still haven't mastered the art of cooking for three instead of 14, but I'm trying. LOL! I freeze a lot of stuff and take it to work for lunch.  Four out of five times a week hubby comes up and shares lunch with me. Â
When hubby picked me up today he brought a single red rose and a crystal plaque that had a duo red bud rose on it and a poem...
WIFE
Wife of my heart, it is you -

We stopped at the thrift store on the way home and I bought two pairs of pants that said they were size 14, they were 10's, and they fit perfectly. I couldn't believe it. And I found, yet another teapot. I'm up to 40 teapots now and hubby says he will NOT make me anymore shelves for them so I better quit while I'm ahead. He's so funny! He picks them up whenever he sees them. I save all teapots and anything with a rose motif because of my middle name. One of the girls from the store found me a teapot with roses all over it and bought it for me.Â
I never realized that I had friends, I've been hiding for so long because of the grief from certain family members, that I was really beginning to think like them. That I was this worthless piece of crud that didn't sedaerve crap, but I know better now. I know the extremes that they will go to, to try to destroy my life and my spirit and it won't work anymore. I am a loving and loveable person, I am caring and cared about also. I will never again allow someone that power over me. I do know what I am and what I am capable of, the world is my oyster and I'm shucking it!  LOL!
My friend Jes just called she's on her way home from work and because the guys are out she wants to come over and keep me company til' they get home. Her honey is with them also. I can just imagine those 8 guys at a concert with Cheech and Chong. I'll bet we'll be watching their movies for a month...if not longer. Re-living their youth I suppose.
Shipwrecked
A young wife, her boorish husband and a young good looking sailor were shipwrecked on an island. One morning, the sailor climbed a tall coconut tree and yelled, "Stop making love down there!"
"What's the matter with you?" the husband said when the sailor climbed down. '"We weren't making love."
"Sorry," said the sailor, "From up there it looked like you were."
Every morning thereafter, the sailor scaled the same tree and yelled the same thing. Finally the husband decided to climb the tree and see for himself. With great difficulty, he made his way to the top.
The husband says to himself, "By golly he's right! It DOES look like they're making love down there!"
