Our President

Despite my intentions of avoiding involvement in politics this year (and forever), I can't help but comment on the current state of affairs regarding our president versus the likely Republican candidate.

Mitt Romney is something else, eh? He takes credit for the car industry recovery. Say what? He "can't remember" bullying in high school. He sends mixed messages about gay marriage. He has no credibility. You thought GW Bush was bad. If Romney is elected, just wait.

On the other hand, how about President Obama? Isn't he wonderful? I just love the man. He tells it like it is. He's willing to "evolve" on many issues. He's for the American worker. He's "middle class" all the way. I think once re-elected, he'll really come out swinging.

If we don't keep Obama in the White House for another 4 years, we will be very, very sorry. Plus, we'll look more stupid than we already look. Fight hard for his re-election, my friends, fight hard.

Romney talks out of both sides of his mouth. He's not very smart either. Obama is just going to make him look ridiculous in the debates.

I'm sure there will be after the conventions. Romney is not officially the Republican nominee yet.

Are debates planned? This morning's paper was filled with politics. I skipped it all!

American politics. I know nothing about Romney, but I like Obama and hope to see him back.

Good. And the less you know about Romney, the better off you'll be! Still miss your posts. Glad you're keeping in touch with us.

We just have to stand up for our man.

Yes, I post a lot of political comments on Facebook and when I get an E mail with a relevant petition, I share it on Facebook. I'm doing my best to spread the word and to debunk lies put out by Romney. Early on I didn't care for Facebook but I now see its value. I don't share personal info, but I use it as a forum for progressive ideas. And sometimes people I don't know read the stuff. And the ones I do know often share the links I post, so the word grows.

Good idea. I suppose if I had more time, I could do the same.
