Thankfully, our Indiana ballot was short and simple. I see that California's is like yours. Ugh. It used to be early voting was a snap--no lines. Nowadays, well, it's like election day.
Hallelujah and good for you! I love your sensible take on the whole thing. I wish more people had your perfect vision.
I'm proud of you with the yoga class. I can see the advantages. Being pregnant is not an excuse to get fat. (You knew you'd hear that from me!) As for the leaves, I wouldn't even bother with raking if it weren't for using them as garden compost brown matter. They shrivel up and disappear by Spring, anyway.
"Rings on his fingers and bells on his toes, there shall be music wherever he goes!" Remember that one? I heard about the EQ and wondered if you felt it! I saw what Irene did last year and worry about you guys with Sandy. Ironic name, what with all the sand damage it will cause on the beaches. Hang in there!!
When I think of something to write about, I jot it down so I won't forget. There's always something. Quite frankly, and this is not meant to be disparaging, I'm a little frustrated with the lack of posts here at mybloggers, and, the weak responses I get from mine. I've been testing the waters at other sites, but with not much luck. It takes time for "newbies" to get recognized. Sorry about you cat. I still have carpet stains from my cat with urinary problems. The only good thing about leaf raking, besides the exercise, is I can compost them, which is garden food!
Love your last sentence!! Perhaps you should include an addendum to your class profile: "I am now dead"!
I just mentioned your name in my post! Hope all is well.
I don't know how Aussies deal with Santa and the reindeer in your Dec summer. Strange picture.
"The sky is falling, the sky is falling!" Henny Penny But I hear you. I had an ex-wife like your health care person--everything was an emergency.
As much as I've been "everywhere", Santa Fe is not one of them (except for passing through on I-24 once). Looks like I've missed out on a great city.
FYI, I'm testing the waters at two other blog sites. If it weren't for you and a couple of others here at mybloggers, I'd be outahere. I'll let you know what I come up with. No Facebook or Twitter, however.
Ouch!
You should have driven it back in 1968 when it was dirt!! Talk about scary! Or I could be talking about Highway 12. Or both.
This is one of many reasons to drink wine. I like the fact that it tastes good!
You're a decent, caring person--a typical Democrat.
