The wind that blows
Brings a chill to the air
Sometimes when it comes to life
It just isn't fair.
I watched her
She just walked away
What happened
It doesn't matter anyway.
The day she left
The sky turned black
And I'm starting to realize
She isn't coming back.
Our love was real
And the life we shared
Despite what she thought
I truly cared.
But I look back
That was yesterday
And for now it's gone
What is left is today.
