We find truths in life
Those we did not know
And some we find out too late
Just when it's time to go.
The ignorance we feign
Which might be the case.
Maybe it's just the ugly truth
That we are afraid to face.
The sands of time
Escape our clenched hand
Seemily never enough
Life doesn't follow our plan.

I'd like to be able to do that...poems and especially songs, which I did manage to write one for a very specific person. Usually it's so simplistic that it's laughable (by me) so I gave up.
