As the sun rose
Colors streaked across the sky
My imagination could not
compete
No matter how hard I
would try.
As a breeze blew
The clouds just floated by
The sun appeared
As a golden orb in the
sky.
Just then an eagle
Spread it's wings and
took flight
And the moment stood still
Much to my delight.
The sky was a blue
Only seen in the sea
My spirit was released
My soul set free.
I wish I could wrap this
moment
To give, to share
To let those I know and love
How much I care.
I will remember this moment
As time passes by
Remembered forever
This day, this sky.
