I have stood by and watched this country fall into financial turmoil, everyday seems to bring the harsh
realities closer to home. It seems to me they're are
a lot of people complaining about their jobs, not
enough pay, long hours, so on and so forth. Well some
of these people need to consider the fact that at least
they have a job, and they are bringing home a paycheck.
Also these people need to recognize that nobody is expendable these days, we can all be replaced at any given time..for any number of illogical reasons. Sure this country is far from perfect, and yes we are in a mess
right at this moment..and it's going to take awhile before we are back on the right track. But this is a time we
should be working together, not trying to pull in different directions. Some people have developed the attitude that they don't care what happens as long as it doesn't affect them. Well no matter who you are or where you come from our country's current situation affects you in some fashion, whether it's at the grocery store or at the gas station you are being affected. I don't mind paying my share to help
put this country get back on track, but I don't want to be the only monkey out there on that limb. My dad always told me that if a person wants to work that there's a job out there, now it may not be exactly what you are looking for( working conditions, pay)..but it's work. You do what you have to until the opportunity comes along for you to move on to a better job. I have a job that I can say I enjoy doing, the pay may not be the greatest but it provides me the chance to support my family. They're are a lot of people out there who'd rather let the government support
them, it's not that they are incapable of working it's that they at too damn lazy to go out and get a job. Thats the part that angers me, I don't object the government helping those people in need..it's just those people who are milking the system that need to get off their ass and go to work.
