The last few days I have examined my point of view on several subjects, and as I have grown older some of my views have changed..some have not. The war that we are waging in the Middle East, my feeling is if we are investing the manpower & money we better come out with some sort of positive result. Anything less is not acceptable, we have already lost to many people and way too much money to make this worthwhile. I am reminded of a quote that Albert Einstein once said, "You can't simultaneously prepare for war and peace at the same time". I am an angry taxpayer, not sure who I am angry at but I know I am angry. We are involved in a quagmire, and if you ask any of those that served in Vietnam we are repeating history. Those in the know say that even with the 30,000 troops and the additional funds it will take we will still have to be a presence in the Middle East for several more years..sound familiar?? Sorry for my rant, but I feel there are some things that need to be questioned.
