Watching the sun rise
Not knowing what the day will bring
All is quiet and still
Except for the birds that sing.
The warm breeze
Softly as it blows
I will take today
Any way it goes.
As the night fades
The sky turns from a darker blue
It's another day
A chance to start anew.
To take a leap of faith
Maybe to lend a hand
Following no schedule
Following no plan.
You can be happy
Or you can be sad
But it's better to feel good
Then it does to feel bad.
For when it comes down to it
All in all in the end
