Cj's Blog and Some Other Thoughts

CJ (Redimpalia)posted an interesting blog today, it had 2 churches with dueling billboards. The first church was a Catholic one, it is named "Lady of the Martyrs". The second one is Presbyterian one named "Beulah Presbyterian Church". The debate raised the question on whether or not dogs go to heaven. I know I don't know the answer to that, I am not sure anyone for that matter knows with any degree of certainty. I know what I was taught in my years of church going, dragged to church as a lad by a mother who felt that she could control the destiny of her children..hoping that enough religion would rub off to keep them on the straight and narrow. Well it must have worked in some small measure, myself and my 3 brothers and 1 sister have avoided any scrapes with the law..also we've grown to be hard working, productive citizens. Like I said I know what I was taught but I guess there is an optimistic side to me that says it would only be right for a pet to be rejoined with it's master, wherever they go after they pass on. I usually don't like to write about religion, my beliefs and where I stand. I believe in God, not totally from what I was taught but from what I have seen in my time here on this planet. I try to live the best life I possibly can, and worry about those things that I need to worry about. I understand that life is not always fair, and whether or not I agree with that I have learned to live with it. I know life is short, even if you question an octogenarian they will tell you how quick life passes you by. Myself I rather choose to live in the today and not the tomorrow, for if you live for tomorrow you might end of missing the miracle which is today.
