I can't seem to get it together today. My mind just doesn't want to commit to the work in front of me. I hate. I hate. I hate Monday's.

I called in sick Friday. And let me tell you, I NEVER call in sick. Even when I'm sick, I go to work. But I really wanted a day to do nothing... to sit in front of the TV and veg. So I did just that. And it was great!!

But.... now I have 2 days of work to do and I cannot get the motivation to even start. Ugh. I hate Monday's.

So I went to meet with my lawyer the other day and on my way home, I decided to stop by a friend's house to visit. While I was there, she said she didn't have any plans going on that night and suggested we all get together at my house for a "game night". So I was all for it and told her we could meet around 8.

I went home and g/f was on the couch still un-showered and watching TV. I tell her that I had invited some friends over and she gets all pissed off that I didn't ask her first! ARE YOU SERIOUS? Am I 17 years old again or something? I don't ASK for anyone's permission to do something in MY house!! Ugh. She annoys me lately.

She BEGGED me to get another dog. I told her SHE could get a dog and SHE could train it and SHE could be the one getting up all night with it if she wanted but I was not doing any of it!! I don't have time to train a puppy. So she went out and got a puppy and at first, she was very good about the training and late night potty trips. And then, she started getting tired and telling me that it's MY turn to get up with the dog! ARE YOU SERIOUS? That is why I didn't want the dog. Ugh.

Sorry for the boring rant today. I'm not up for anything else. Including work.
