When the tree service guy came to the door with our bill he leaned in, lowered his voice and as his eyes darted towards the dog pack house, asked if we got on well with our neighbours. I stuck out my hand as if to shake his and with a twist of my wrist waggled it back and forth, like a horizontal royal wave. He said she was pretty upset about all the sawdust in her yard. She was "bitching and whining" about it to him earlier. As soon as the tree guys left she ordered her poor hubby out with his shop vac to vacumn up all the sawdust off their grass. So far today I have managed to avoid her steely glare but if she's planing on "bitching and whining" to me she can just go tell someone who cares.
