Oh Ffffff ... ... .Udge!

There is a company in Victoria, BC that makes delicious spices and dips with very little to no sodium. They also sell pots and pans and all manner of kitchen paraphialia. Their set up is like Tupperware with the parties and sales people. One of their newer items is a rubbery tray that you can place thin slices of potatoe on and put in the microwave for a few minutes to make your own fat free, seasoned any way you want potatoe chips. They are healthy and more importantly, they taste really good! I had been thinking of getting one for a few months and on July 31 I sent an e-mail to a sales person (the lady who has been giving me boxes and boxes of yarn since she gave up knitting). I ordered the rubbery tray, the slicing tool, a bottle of powdered Ranch dressing and a bottle of popcorn seasoning on July 31st. Then I waited and waited and waited. Finally, with no word from her, I decided my e-mail must have gone into her spam box and I could live without healthy, home made potatoe chips. Then last Sunday, September 2, I noticed this company had a booth at the Craft Market so I sauntered over and bought the rubbery tray, the slicing tool and the powdered Ranch dressing (I forgot about the popcorn seasoning.). I brought them home and tried them out....yum yum yum. Two days later I get an e-mail from the lady I had originally ordered from. "Your order came in today. When can I drop it off?" (and get paid) This is where the Oh FFFFFF.......udge comes in. DH says to tell her I don't want it anymore but I can't do that. So now I'll have two rubbery trays, two slicing tools and two bottles of powdered Ranch dressing which will take us at least a year to use up. So now I'm thinking Christmas gifts? You can only fit 12 - 15 potatoe slices on the tray so unless mom wants to be slicing potatoes and microwaving all day, families are out. Maybe my sister would like it. She's pretty health concious but I don't know if she likes potatoe chips. Needless to say, I won't be placing any more orders with Mrs I-Only-Send-In-One-Order-Per-Month-And-You-Just-Missed-My-Cutoff. Oh FFFFFF.......udge!

For the powder, cut the potatoes in bigger wedges, toss them and some onion slices in a little bit of olive oil and some of that Ranch dressing powder and bake in a shallow dish, stirring along the way.

Is that a silicone tray that can be used in the regular oven? If so, I'd use them for cookies (on top of a baking sheet).

Well, you have the right idea. Christmas will be here before you know it!
