I came home last night. I refused to miss a couple of doctors' appointments I had scheduled for today. The first was my consultation appointment for a colonoscopy with Dr Coldfish. On a scale of 1 to 10, this doctor has a personality rating of -7 but I don't care so long as she does a good job. As I am on the semi-urgent waiting list, I should have my colonoscopy in about eight weeks. (Check back then for a blow by blow description of my prep day.) Then I was off to the family GP for new prescriptions for my meds. The good news is that I don't have high cholesterol nor do I have diabetes. The bad news is that I have to go back to my mother's. But that has nothing to do with the doctor's appointment. Surprisingly, my blood pressure was excellent. Now I can relax until Thursday night when I have to go back prison...er... I mean my mother's.
