Weight Crapola

I had to laugh, yesterday R was complaining to me that his clothes were too tight. I said I totally hear ya mister. Then when I told him the plan for dinner was some corn on the cob and some pasta he decided that he wanted some pizza. I was like remember your pants are tight? He insisted it was father's day and he should be allowed (Kraymer and Tucker had gotten him a present so he knew that ploy would work). Who am I to deny him? We went with a thin and crispy crust so it was a bit lighter than our usual pan.

So I have lost 6 pounds since starting Weight watchers a few weeks ago. I adore the points and their ability to keep me in line! :0) I also feasted yesterday because I had a lot of points remaining from the week. I usually don't use em unless I need them, but pizza was calling and I had to answer!

We had a great weekend. We went out to R's barn on Saturday night. I was dreading it because his friends girlfriends can be a bit "clique"-y, but there is another girl who feels like I do so we spent most of the night on R's balcony smoking cigarettes chatting up a storm. It ended up being a lot of fun!

Today is the first day of the rest of my life. R and I quit smoking again, this time we are being assisted by Nicorette. We went to CVS yesterday and I had to chuckle as I told the lady I wanted a pack of Nicorette and a pack of smokes. hehe Well I should have read the label, I of course asked for the highest level of nicorette only to find that we ended up with the stuff for people who smoke 25+ a day, which we are nowhere near. Oopsy! I chewed a piece this morning on my way in to work and I think I feel it coursing through my veins! hehe

This is good though because now I can start my workouts back up again. I am going to go slowly again since I am sure I have lost all I had before, but any bit is good! I am going to shoot for 20 minutes in the mornings, starting with 5 minutes again. :0)

It's a Monday!

Da Man's smoking counselor has told him that nothing but total nicotine replacement will work. He's got the triple whammy: patch, gum, lozenges. And he hasn't set a quit date yet.

Keep trying. I was a two pack a day smoker before my Doctor scared me to death. Besides think of the money you will save and can spend on cute things for Kraymer. I vizualize him in a nifty coat.

great job on the weight loss. I've been wondering how the weight watchers "points" work

Wow, good going on the weight loss and the quitting of smoking. I'm so proud of you... these tasks are not easy to do, especially at the same time, so keep up the good work.

6 pounds is awesome! I'm so happy that WW is working for you! I know so many people doing WW and no one on JC- even though they are airing commercials like crazy right now. That's so awesome! Wooohoooo to six pounds lost!
And I myself had pizza calling my name on Wednesday after I ran 2 miles. I couldn't ignore the craving any longer and it was well worth it! Yum.

I am proud of you. I may join you on WW. Because I am not doing well with Spark People. That and my whole family is doing this weight loss challenge. I am inspired and competitive.
