Ugs

Just talked to the reg vet. She said that they usually don't reimburse for suture repair and that she did some things for free during the surgery to stay close to the estimate. *Sigh*

I then asked about his bleeding - still - and she said that since she hadn't seen the wound since the emergency vet did something that she really couldn't say, but that we were starting over as of Sunday since the wound reopened...

I am so frustrated.

At least Kraymer is acting like his rambunctious self. That is a good thing and I will go with that.

If the bleeding continues much longer (it's not major, just oozing still) I might go to a different vet starting NOW but we shall see.

I u both. It was good to see Kraymer. You should have seen me trying to put that harness on. Even with the explanation it still took me five minutes and I kept trying to keep my voice calm so that we wouldn't get overexcited and hurt ourselves. He was was perfect and seems happy. Rest assured he's on the mend and is going to be a crazy head for much longer.... :)

Ugs for sure. At least he's feeling better. I don't think I would be too concerned about the oozing--at least for another day or so. It has to start healing all over again since the staples, I would say. But I do not excuse her.

And what could they have done free? Jeez how about a little compassion on their part? I'm amazed at their replies...maybe a little defensive?

What a headache. Just because they did stuff for free during the surgery is no excuse for not reimbursing you for what they mucked up.

sounds like the vet is getting out of any responsibility for what they did.
